I have virtually no idea what to say, currently, I am under the influence of illness. Life is a misery when from day to day it is the same yet there is always the light that you can strive to. The veil between us and them appears thinner and more distinguishable.
Anyway, I'm Henry, often using the internet alias of SfasmTawSbasa which is basically an anacronym of this terribly, and most likely, incorrectly-rendered, Gothic sentence: Sa Frauja Al Sa Meno, Thiudan Al Wulds, Sa Baur Ah Sa Ahwa, which literally means The Lord of the Moon, King of Wolfs, The Child of the Sea. I was bored one day and so that alias materialized.
Below is my history, or at least the most modern part of my past. ^_^
Once, a long time ago, upon the primitive land of Pangaea, his soul was brought forth from far distant lands. As the years passed, he ventured between the two planes, and eventually finding himself on the island named Engelond, within the city of Leodis with a family tracing back to the lands of the oriental Middle Kingdom. Seven and ten Springs will have passed by the eight and twenty day of the first quarter month next year.
Following a pantheistic religion named Paganism, he has been living, showing love to nature, the Moon and the Sun. Ridiculous, he finds, the ones who say that he worships the Devil or that he sacrifices animals. As he has said many times, why would you sacrifice nature for nature. This leads him to despise narrow-mindedness, it causes disagreements - both must step back to benefit each other, otherwise it will just be a stalemate.
The fellow soceity that he lives amongst, sporadically labels him as a goth or an emo. Admittedly, he does live quite a Gothic lifestyle, he loves the music, the clothing and the often non-conformist attitudes. Perhaps a more accurate label may be Visual Kei, he is quite a fanatic about Mana-sama and Kozi, as well as the bands, Moi Dix Mois, Silver Ash, Malice Mizer and many more.
The music range that he listens to ranges from classical music to rock to techno. But most of them have a psychedelic, gothic theme running through them. For example, Nightwish incorporates opera with metal, leading onto Moi Dix Mois that use haunting melodies along with strange, fantastical lyrics. Emilie Autumn cares not what others think, her lyrics speak of arranged marriages, affairs, liars and everything in between. Tokio Hotel are an amazing rock band. Tarja Turunen has a wonderful opera voice and sings some very gothic songs. Nightwish is a metal and my first band and still fascinate him, especially the lyrics.
His music taste influences his life very much, he enjoys the arts and literature. He spends a lot of them creating art work but is also interested in fashion and writing. Tuomas Holopainen's lyrics are a fountain of inspiration, along with Tokio Hotel's songs. Some of his favourite artists include the fantasy artist, Josephine Wall, the charming gothic lady, Anne Sudworth, the amazing photographer, Viona and many more. His favourite writers include Edgar Allen Poe, Brian Jacques, Sarah Ash, Juliet Marillier, JRR Tolkien and the list goes on. Languages fascinate him, being able to speak at least two languages -Cantonese and English. He also delves into the study of Hakka, Korean and Spanish, the list may increase in the future.
